When I am creating a Customer or Supplier Sales invoice the VAT drop down box on the right has nothing there to select the VAT code? It stopped being there yesterday?

This might have something to do with a browser issue, info984.

For some reason, there are times that software like QuickBooks will not work properly. It's when our data is holding too much cache. When things go like this, performing the recommended troubleshooting steps can help us fix the issue. It helps us to verify if it's really a browser issue that causing this unusual behavior.

If you haven't tried them yet, you can sign in to your account using a private browser. You can follow the shortcut keys below, depending on what browser you're using.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If we're able to see and select VAT codes, we can go back to our main browser and clear the cache. This is to start your data fresh and help QuickBooks to work well. Also, you can use other supported browsers like Mozilla, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari. For Safari, make sure to use the latest one.

Please give me an update on how these things work for you. I'm always here in case you still need a hand on this matter. I hope you're well and safe!
