When I duplicate invoices on Quick Book Self Employed - it's duplicating something I deleted already. I've saved it how I want it and it keeps duplicating something from 3 days ago. every time I add an invoice, I have to delete the bit I don't want

Unusual behavior like this might be caused by a browser-related issue. When caches are piled up, this can cause display or program problems.

 

We can do some troubleshooting steps to fix this. Let's open your QuickBooks Self-Employed account using the incognito or private browser. This mode doesn't store cache.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Once signed in, check if you're getting a duplicate invoice. Or else, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Please make sure to restart your browser afterwards.

 

You can also use a different supported browser as an alternate solution.
