I'll guide you to perform some troubleshooting steps so you can edit and duplicate an estimate in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Tony.

Please know that duplicating an estimate depends on the layout you're using. If you're in the new estimate experience, you'll see the option to Make a Copy instead of Duplicate. Here's an article for the step-by-step guide: Duplicate an invoice or an estimate in QuickBooks Online.

In some cases, a corrupted cache can cause conflict with the software, which results in being unresponsive. To resolve this, I recommend logging in to your account in a private browsing window. Doing so allows you to access QBO with a fresh start. Please refer to the following keyboard shortcuts.

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

Once resolved, please return to your original browser to clear its cache or utilize another compatible one.

When a customer accepts your estimate, you can convert it directly into an invoice to link them together.
