Question

When I go into the transaction page I can't add a name anymore. I can add the amount paid but it won't save

Hello there, @upkeepgardening.

 

When adding transactions manually in QuickBooks Self-Employed, you'd want to make sure to include the amount and description. Let me guide on how it works.

  1. Go to the Transaction menu
  2. Choose the Add Transaction button.
  3. Enter the amount and a description.
  4. Click the Select a category menu.
  5. Assign  the best category to organise your transaction. 
    • If you have a receipt, you can drag and drop it onto the form.
  6. Hit Save
