We appreciate you for posting here in the Community space. Allow me to mention the importance of generating a unique link for PayPal payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To have the option to receive invoice payments via PayPal in QBO, we need to ensure that you've created a PayPal link and added it to an invoice accurately. While encoding an email address isn't possible within QuickBooks, it can be possible with any internet tool. Look up URL encoding online to find out how to encrypt your email address. The encoded email should then be copied and pasted into the email message.

Then, let's add your unique link to an invoice:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to the gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  3. Select the Sales tab, and click the pencil icon next to Messages.
  4. From the Email Message field, paste the encoded link you create.
  5. Click Save.

If this isn't the case on your end, we recommend contacting the Support Team to further investigate. The support representatives have certain tools to find out the cause of the problem.
