Solved

When raising an invoice can I set things so the VAT box autofills with the client VAT number rather than having to copy and paste each time?

Hi @michael194

Customer VAT Number is an option in Custom Form Styles - at the bottom of the Content tab.

It's not ideal - it shows directly under the Customer Address & cannot be moved.

QBO will only display on the invoice if you have entered the VAT number in Customer Details.

Hope this helps.

Hello there, @michael194.

Thanks for visiting us here today. I'll share some information about the VAT field in invoices. This field, will only auto-fill the VAT codes or rates, it doesn't includes the client's VAT number.

On the other hand, I'll be taking note of this feature so our Developers will know that this is something they need to consider adding. Rest assured, they are working non-stop to enhance the product and deliver the best experience for all QuickBooks users.

You can also go to Gear, and then Feedback.
