When reviewing my receipts all the usual expenses such as travel, entertaining, motor vehicle etc have disappeared and only custom expenses are now visible, why?

The expense categories not showing are likely caused by a sync issue or using an outdated mobile app version.

If you're using a mobile app, I suggest you uninstall and then reinstall the app. If you are using a web browser, we can do some troubleshooting steps. Sometimes, older or corrupted caching files can cause problems in your web browser.

To get started, please log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using an incognito tab. Depending on your browser type, you may refer to the keyboard shortcuts provided below:

• Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Safari: Command + Shift + N

When this works, you may proceed to clear the browser's cache. This removes its stored cache to ensure the program performs efficiently. I recommend using another supported browser or device if you still encounter the same challenges.
