Where does the debit entry go when we use void to cancel an invoice for fees. The fees account balance is unchanged but the TB balances

If you VOID an invoice, QBO just zeroes the entries rather than creating a cancelling entry.

Welcome to the Community page, 

When a transaction is voided in QuickBooks the amounts become 0 on both sides or it is reduced on both sides.  If this is not happening we would suggest you ring the helpline on 0808 234 5337 and you'll be able to set up a screen share with the agent on the phone so they can look into it more for you.
