Where does the information appear in quickbooks from the receipt capture? Have captured it etc and a message is displayed saying go online to see your receipt?

Glad to see you here, @danabevan21-11-1,

 

Scanned receipts from the mobile app are redirected to the Banking page. 

 

The details uploaded into QBO is dependent on the scanned information on the mobile app. The system auto-fills the Description field using the Header of the receipt. See this sample illustration:

 

You can update any missing or incorrectly mapped fields directly in the For Review section. Here's how:

 

  1. On your Dashboard, proceed to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the Receipts tab and locate the receipts to delete.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow then pick Review.
  4. Choose Edit receipt details then manually correct the information.
  5. Hit Save and close when done.
