Why am I not seeing my open invoices in the app?

Suddenly the app thinks I'm yet to create an invoice though I have about 20 open that I can see on the desktop? What's going on?

It can be challenging when you can't view your open invoices, info. I'm here to help you resolve this.

 

First, let's ensure you open the correct account in your QuickBooks Online mobile app. It could be the reason why the open invoices are missing.

 

If this isn't the case, the data stored may be full, or the app isn't updated. These are the several causes of the issue. I'll lay down the troubleshooting steps you can perform to resolve this.

 

To start, update the app so we have the latest features. 

 

Android:

 

  1. Press the menu at the top right.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Select Refresh Data and choose Yes.

 

Mac:

 

  1. Select the menu at the top right.
  2. Choose Help & Feedback.
  3. Select Refresh Data and Refresh.

 

Then, clear the app data:

 

  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Click Apps (varies by device).
  3. Choose the QuickBooks app from the list, then select Storage.
  4. Select Clear data.

 

If you get the same result, I'd recommend uninstalling the app. Then, reinstall it to improve the program's performance. 

 

Once done, view the open transactions again.

 

Alternatively, you can access your account via supported browsers. There, you can view all your sales transactions.

 

Once your customer pays you in QuickBooks Online, I suggest tracking the received payment from your mobile device. Doing so ensures your record is accurate.
