Glad to see you in the Community, @Luke filmmaker. I'd be happy to share some troubleshooting steps to help you get your bank transactions flowing to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Banking page.

There are many reasons why QuickBooks Online hasn't uploaded the bank transactions. Here are the possible causes:

  • Needs to be manually updated because of network traffic or the bank website's new updates have been released.
  • It's beyond 90 days approved consent for bank connection in compliance with Open banking regulation. Sometimes there will be a notification to re-authorize the connection.
  • Open investigation on specific banks has been reported to QBO.

Now, let's proceed with updating your bank transactions manually. To do that, go to the Banking page and click the Update button in the upper-right corner of the page. This is what it looks like:

If there are still no transactions uploaded, you can proceed with the re-authorizing connection. You need to disconnect and reconnect the account to online banking.

Before that, review your transactions that have been downloaded. To know more about the steps, you can follow Step 1 Review your bank transactions in this article: How to re-authorise your bank connection.

When you're done re-authorizing QBO but you're still not able to see the bank transactions, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the tools to check further if there are any open investigations so that you will be included on the list of affected users.

If this happens, you can import the transactions manually by downloading them from your bank's website and uploading it to QBO. You can follow the steps in this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

I'd love to hear more from you about this. Please don't hesitate to comment below if you have any questions about the process. I'm always here to lend a hand. Have a wonderful day ahead!
