The filters used could be incorrect, austinsices. I'll help you locate the expenses.

Before proceeding, may I know the steps you've performed in searching for the transactions? That way, we'll be able to rectify the process to check if we have the same results.

For now, let's use the Magnifying Glass feature and make sure to add the correct filters. I'll show you how:

  1. Click the Magnifying Glass icon.
  2. Enter the date, amount, or transaction number you’re looking for, then select the desired transaction.
  3. If the transaction you're looking for does not appear on the results list, click Advanced Search
  4. Adjust the filters to find the type of data you want.
  5. Select Search. Narrow the list by changing the Last Modified Date to Amount
  6. Click Add Filter.

For more details, please see this article: Search for Transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If the issue persists, let's search the transactions via a private window. This helps determine if this is a browser-related issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

If it works, I'd suggest clearing the browser's cache. This deletes its stored cache to ensure the program performs efficiently.

You can also use other supported browsers. They'll provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

Additionally, I've added an article that'll guide you in finding transactions in your Chart of Accounts. This helps you save more time in locating your past and current data: Use Account History in QuickBooks Online.
