Question

Why can't I select the vat selection on my invoices. I have always been able to use the drop down and today it has stopped and nothing is there? Thanks

I have checked that 20%, zero rated and exempt are selected as ones I use in the taxes section.

Sometimes the stored cache for a long period of time may result in a browser-related issue. To check if you're experiencing it, let's perform some basic troubleshooting procedures.

 

 

To start, kindly log in to your QuickBooks Online company using an incognito page. Follow these shortcut keys to open it:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P 
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N 

 

Once logged in, try to create an invoice again. If you're able to do it with no issues, then you'll have to clear your browser cache regularly It will prevent any unusual browser behavior in the future. Otherwise, you can use other supported browsers.
