Hello there, @dchelectrical.

Getting your bank transactions updated is my priority. May I ask for the name of the bank that is not updating? This is for me to further  check on the root cause why it's not updating.

Here are the possible reasons why you're unable to receive updates in your transactions lists.

  • They may have implemented changes to their service offerings, Web Connect or Direct Connect.
  • An update on your bank’s information such as the name (bank merger), account number and login credentials require you to refresh it in QuickBooks.
  • You may have an Inactive Bank Account enabled for Online Banking in QuickBooks.
  • There may be ongoing maintenance on your bank’s website.

Let's manually update your bank transactions. Here's how:

     1. Log in to your bank’s website outside QuickBooks.

     2. Review your posted transactions and check for any connectivity error notifications.

     3. Once completed, log in to your QuickBooks Online account.

     4. Let’s perform a manual update on your connected bank account.

           a. Go to the Banking menu.

           b. Choose the Banking tab.

           c. Select your bank account.

           d. If you have an existing standard connection, you will see a Future-proof your connection reminder.

           e. Click Get direct bank feeds.

           f. Enter your Account Name, BSB, Account Number.

           g. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.

           h. Click Continue update.

Also, I have here some articles to help you with managing your downloaded bank transactions:

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. When I use the mobile app & tried to click on the banking to review nothing happens. I’m not sure it’s a bank link issue at this point.
I bank with Lloyds Bank but can confirm all works on Mac app & direct through web server.

Regards

Let's get your bank feeds working again in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app, @dchelectrical.

The mobile app's outdated data is likely the cause of the unresponsive page or missing banking entries. You can clear the app's internet files to sweep out the corrupted cache and refresh it.

For Android devices:

  1. From More Options⋮, choose Settings.
  2. Select Refresh Data, and then click Yes.

For iOS devices:

  1. From the Menu ☰, select Help & Feedback.
  2. Choose Refresh Data, and then click Refresh.

If the issue persists, you can uninstall and then reinstall the app to refresh its setup.

For now, you'll want to access the banking feeds using a web browser. After resolving the said issue, you can begin categorizing and matching your transactions to keep your records accurate.

I'm still around to back you up with any banking issues you might raise. I'll keep a close eye on your reply. Have a good one!

Thank you for your reply but both options I’m afraid have not worked.
I discovered when reinstalling the app I use the accounting version as it is now just so it is known.
the bank accounts are on my dashboard but the hyperlink don’t work to allow me to refresh and view transactions, I just remain on the home page.
