Why have my customer information and opinion invoices disappeared

I'm here to ensure that this gets sorted out as soon as possible to get you back in working order. One of the reasons why customers' information and invoices disappear is because of being accidentally deleted.  

To view possible deletion, let's first check your company's activity. Let me guide you on how:
 

  1. In your QBO account, go to the Gear icon, then select Audit log.
  2. On the Audit Log page, you can filter the user, date, and events.
  3. Locate the invoice you created or possible deletion made.

On the other hand, if there were no deletions done, it could have something to do with a browser issue. QuickBooks Online (QBO) can occasionally stop working properly since locally stored internet cache files can cause the product to behave unexpectedly due to overloaded site data. I recommend opening a different browser or a private window to isolate possible issues. This can help us remove any cache-related matter that may have contributed to the problems. 

 

Here's how to activate incognito mode in some of the most common online browsers:
 

  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl+ Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

 

If your invoices and estimates finally show, it's safe to say that the browser has caused it. This can be fixed by clearing your cache and cookies.
