Why is my customer getting the following error when paying an invoice? "You can try again, or come back later and try connecting then"

Customer is trying to pay with a credit card.

If they're paying by paypal, then its possibly a browser or mobile device issue, it just depends on how they're trying to use it? Could you give us some more information on this thanks.
