I’ll help sort this out so you’re able to enter this expense amount in QuickBooks, @bopster.

The app cache is sometimes the reason that features behaves unexpectedly. Here are some quick steps to fix most app-related issues.

First, we'll close and restart the app. Then follow these two places instructions below to clear the app data. Here's how:

  1. In the QuickBooks Online app:
    1. From More options , click Settings.
    2. Select Refresh Data and then choose Yes.

  2. In your device Settings:
    1. Select Apps, then choose the QuickBooks app from the list.
    2. Click Storage, then select Clear data.

If you're using iOS, refer to this reference to refresh your data. After the steps, restart your device. If the same things happen, I recommend uninstalling and then reinstall the app. Doing this updates the version automatically and improves the feature efficiently.
