It's great to see you here, @lizletcher2pp,

I can help you sort out this expense concern. The vendor's name should appear from the drop-down, unless their profile is inactive.

If this issue just came up, let's try doing some browser troubleshooting first. This is to check if this issue is caused by the large data in the cache.

Your browsing history will accumulate data overtime, and will constantly overwrite itself. Since it won't reset the cache by itself, it might cause QuickBooks to function poorly.

Open your account in a private window and try creating an expense from there. Incognito mode will not save any history making it a good place to identify browser problems.

To open a private browser, use these keyboard shortcuts to lauch private browsing:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

Secondly, you can clear the browser's cache. This will help delete the history of the browser, so you can start in a clean slate.

Let me know how it goes, as I want to make sure this is fixed. I'll be right here if you need further help. Enjoy the rest of the day!
