We're not vat registered but been recording on expenses. How can I change all expenses to Out of Scope of VAT without having to go into each record?

I'm here to share information about changing or editing transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Currently, the option to change or edit expense transactions to remove VAT by batch is unavailable. You can only do it one at a time.

I can see how having this option would be helpful for you and your business. I highly recommend sending feedback directly to our product developers. They're always looking for ideas to consider on how to improve QuickBooks.

Here's how to submit feedback:

1. In QBO, go to the Gear located at the top right.
2. Under Profile, click Feedback.
3. Enter your recommendation and select Submit

Hi Guys, 

I just wanted to add a question here. should your company not be VAT registered, from a bookkeeping perspective should i still add tax with each transaction i'm allocating? 

your help would be much appreciated
