Anyone in UK trying to submit a VAT return today? getting error saying cannot connect to HMRC even though everything is set up as usual

Hello there, @dm1967.

 

I reviewed the error in our list of reported concerns and found a similar one. In the meantime, our engineers are closely looking into a resolution to this. 

 

I suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Support so they can add you to the list of affected users. Here's how: 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. From the upper-right corner, click Help indicated with a question mark.
  3. Click Contact us and then enter the error on the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Then, click Let's talk.
  5. You can either Chat or Get a callback from us. 

 

The Plus, Essentials, and Simple Start support are available from Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM PT and Saturday from 6 AM to 3 PM PT. While for the Advanced, reach out to them any time, any day.
