Company had now de registered for vat but I can't seem to change details. How do I update client for this?

Hello Margaret7, 

 

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

So you will need to disconnect MTD in the main account and settings section and set the default category setting to NO VAT. 

 

This will then stop any VAT been record for the customer/client.
