Deregistering for VAT - final submission

Hi, HMRC have confirmed my VAT deregistration but are asking me to submit any outstanding VAT Returns which cover the period up to 03 August 2021.  My last full quarterly return was to 31/7/21 so how do I do a submission from 1/8 - 3/8/21 in QB?

Hello Michael Jack, 

 

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

So you will need to speak to HMRC to make sure they have opened an obligation for that time periods so you can submit the return to them. Once HMRC open the obligation it will show in Quickbooks for you to then submit to them.
