Entering the VAT element from repair garage of a no fault vehicle accident

 have looked at some of the answers for the above, but am unable to adjust the VAT amount as suggested in one of the repiies.   As a result, I am at a loss how to record the VAT element of the repair to be able to claim the vat back.

Hi Rebecca, thanks for posting on the Community. We'd recommend reaching out to your bookkeeper or accountant for support in ensuing the VAT element is recorded correctly. If you don't already have an accountant, you can find a QuickBooks certified ProAdvisor near you on our online directory.
