Exporting VAT details report to Excel

Hi

 

If I go to Taxes/VAT then choose a VAT quarter I can run a VAT detail report. However, it seems that this can only be printed, not exported to Excel.

 

I can run a VAT detail report from Reports/VAT and exort it but it isn't the same report.

 

Is there a way of exporting the first report?

Hello JFquick, 

 

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

If you are using the web browser version when you run the report you should see the option to export it is the 3rd icon along its a u with an arrow pointing up in it on the right hand side top of the report.  When you click the icon you will get 2 options to either export it to PDF or excel. If you dont get the option try clearing your cache and cookies and if you still dont see the option can you send us a screenshot so we can take a look into it more for you.

The screen doesn't look anything like that. None of the icons you describe are there.

 

I get a print preview type screen as a sort of insert on top of the main screen with the transactions in grey (why grey, it's harder to see?) and at the end of each screen's worth of transactions (although it scrolls down) there's a "print" icon in the bottom middle and a "Done" button on the bottom right.

 

Run the report and tell me what you see.
