Extending VAT quarter

I need to extend a VAT quarter in Quickbooks online so it runs from 1/12/19-2/4/20 - is this possible?

Thanks for joining us on the Community. 

 

To do this, select 'Prepare return' on the Taxes screen and then edit the end date showing on the 'Prepare VAT Return' screen.

 

If you are registered for MTD and have this enabled within your account then this should automatically update to show the obligation request from HMRC.
