Hi kkahrod-googlema,

You'll first need to turn on VAT by going to Taxes on the left-menu and entering your VAT registration and filing details on the pop-up.

After this, you can switch on MTD by going to Taxes > Edit VAT > Edit settings > Turn the switch on for MTD - this will redirect you temporarily to the government gateway to enter your gateway credentials.

If you already know the final box 1-9 figures to submit for your returns, you can submit these easily using our Bridging Software.

Alternatively, you can enter the transactions for the periods into QuickBooks, with the correct date and VAT code applied, and these will pull through automatically to your return. For speed, you can connect your bank and add your transactions into QuickBooks directly, this will allow you to go back up to 24 months from the day you're connecting.
