Question

Hi, when receiving a VAT refund from HMRC, how do I post this in QB - what account do I use - many thanks. The refund doesn't match an exact return amount, thank you

Hi @StephanieG 

 

Why does it not match a return amount?

It should do really.

 

Either way, go through Taxes > VAT to your last return.  Select Record Refund - you can enter the amount in the pop-up (it doesn't have to match the exact amount).
