How can I change the bank when recording a VAT payment

The Bank dropdown list when recording a payment does not list all bank accounts so I am unable to select the correct bank.

Thanks for joining the Community, davidpike

 

When recording a VAT payment, you'll be able to select from any account with a Cash at bank and in hand or Credit Card account type.

 

You can check the account type by going to your Chart of accounts (Take me there).

 

If your bank is already set up with the correct account type and you still don't see it listed when recording the payment, consider clearing the cache and Intuit-specific cookies on your browser (or open QuickBooks in a different browsing window). 


Since QuickBooks is a web-based application that uses browser cache and cookies to run faster (but can also block pages from loading), we recommend this as a first step when troubleshooting. Hope this helps!
