How do I apply VAT in Purchase orders in QuickBooks Desktop version?

I've been trying so hard to find a way to enter VAT into purchase orders OR even try to adjust VAT values in QB desktop. I cannot find any VAT option on my system

Hello Khaled3, QBDT is not designed to track sales tax automatically on non-sales transactions. You need to manually calculate and enter the sales tax in the Amount column when creating PO. We have added a link on the 2 ways you could do this here
