Question

How do I change bank account to record VAT payment. When I go to record payment its brings up our deposit account. We cannot change this to the current account ??

Hello WessexFM, Thanks for your query about recording VAT payments.  If you are recording the VAT payment within the taxes section>record payment, where it has the payment account pre-filled in there should be a drop-down arrow that allows you to change the bank account it is recorded as being paid from, it will show you a list or give you an option to add a new chart of account if needed. Let us know if you're not seeing that option. Thanks

Thanks for you reply. Don't get a drop down list when I click down arrow. Sure I used to get a list of our bank accounts, but not now ?

Hello WessexFM,  We do not  currently have any reports of the list not being available. Can we ask you to open Quickbooks on a private browsing window/incognito window on your browser in case this is a display issue on the browser you're using.
