How do I create my last quarter VAT return

Thanks for your post and welcome to the QuickBooks Online Community. 

If you have not already, you will first need to activate the VAT by going to Taxes and completing the setup wizard, which allows you to select your filing frequency and set your VAT date periods.

The recommended way to create the return would be to enter the transactions for the period, selecting the applicable QuickBooks Online VAT code - this will then automatically post the vat element to your return. 

You can also connect your bank account and add the transactions in from here, or download a statement of the transactions from your bank for the last quarter andimport them using the import tool (Cog Wheel > Import Data > Bank Data) to make this process faster.
