How do i derigister my vat in quickbooks?

Hello purplepatta 👋 What do you mean by this, Have you set up the company for VAT and you're not VAT registered so would like the system to stop given options as to what VAT code to be using? Or have you registered for MTD ( making tax digital ) and wish to disconnect from MTD? Have you de-registered with HMRC and want to turn that VAT off? Once VAT has been turned on within QuickBooks you are unable to turn this off, What you can do is have it so it defaults to NO VAT, to do this go to the gear icon>Company settings>advanced>Accounting>Default rate section and select NO VAT.
