How do i re-authorise MTD for VAT....it says I need to renter login details but where do I do that?

Let me begin that process with you, @adam126. I understand you need to re-authorise MTD in QuickBooks Online. I'll share how to do it.

Re-authorizing the connection should done every 18 months, and QuickBooks will send a notification when it's time to re-authorize your Making Tax Digital for you VAT. With that, you need to enter your login details to set up the connection between QuickBooks and HMRC.

I'm also adding this steps to activate your MTD for VAT.

1. In QuickBooks, go to Taxes.

2. Choose Set up MTD.

3. Pick Authorise now.

4. Select Continue.

5. In the window that opens, sign in with your MTD Government Gateway user ID and password. This will be in the confirmation email you receive from HMRC.

6. Click the Continue.

7. Press the Give permission.

8. Once you're connected, select Continue and then Go to Taxes.
