How do I record an income from regular maintenance work, Sales or Services?

Let’s work on this together to categorise your income in QuickBooks Online (QBO), paul.

Both are money in your account. A sale is a transaction between two businesses that involves the exchange of tangible or intangible goods including services and assets for money. QuickBooks provides a more specific category on how you can set up or add your products or services.

If you prefer to enter them as a sale or service, both will be fine. However, I still recommend you consult your accountant for the best advise and guidelines.
