How do I unfile a cis return, marked as filed in quickbooks, so I can record payments?

If there are corrections to be made on the return and you need to unfile it from QuickBooks, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Support team. They are the ones who can check your account and help you make amendments to an erroneous filing.

The process of getting in touch with our representative has improved. You can reach one of our agents by going to the Help menu.

Here's how: 

1. Go to the Help menu.
2. Select Talk to a human.
3. Type in unfile CIS return in the Type something field.
4. Click the send icon.
5. Choose I still need a human.
6. Click Contact Us.
7. Select the Send a message button.
8. Enter the necessary details, then click Continue.

In case you have the old option to contact our representative, I suggest following these steps:

1. Go to the Help menu.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Enter unfile CIS return in the What can we help you with? field.
4. Click Let's talk.
