How do we allocate sales to various cost centres, to be able to get the profits per function? ie: Bar sales against cost?

Hello there, @treasurer85.

 

You can create a sales item for each function and separate them with their income or sales account.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Products and Services.
  2. At the top right, click New.
  3. Choose the item you want.
  4. Make sure to allocate the specific income account.
  5. Hit Save and close.

In case you need to track your best sellers or the total sales for each product or service, you can refer to this article in utilizing reports to see your sales and inventory status.
