How to submit vat return?

When talking about VAT returns, there are three procedures that we need to consider:

• Before submitting the VAT Return
• Submit the VAT Return to HMRC
• Marking the VAT Return as filed in QuickBooks Online

Once you're done reviewing the reports, you can follow these steps to submit the VAT Return:

1. Select Taxes on the left menu and go to VAT.
2. Look for the Ope returns and click Submit return.
3. Enter the correct dates and amounts.
4. Select File online with HMRC.
5. Enter your Government Gateway User ID and Government Gateway Password.
   Then, you can select Yes, I want to proceed.
6. QuickBooks Online will now connect to HMRC to submit your VAT return.
