Question

I am newish to QB as normally use Sage. When you are on FR scheme, do you post any vatable expenses to NO VAT as I notice that my client has posted as standard VAT.

The difference has gone to Savings by FRS, but this is different to how we post onto Sage for FR as they all go on as T9

In QuickBooks Online, applying VAT codes to your expenses is essential in order to get an accurate picture of your savings under the FRS. Transactions should have the standard 20% VAT code applied (where VAT is applicable) and the system will then apply the FRS rate to the transaction(s) on the VAT return.
