Welcome aboard to the Community, TCB246.

Let’s check to see if there’s too much data stored in your browser. This can often cause errors and prevent web pages from loading properly.

We can start by logging in to QBO via incognito mode or a private window. This prevents the browser from saving your browsing data.

From there, create an expense and add a VAT. I’ll help show the steps on how to bring up a private browser.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If this works, clear your browser’s cache to optimize the browser’s performance and your QBO experience. Otherwise, utilize another supported browser. This is to determine if the one you’re using is the issue.

For future reference, let me share the link to our self-help articles. From there, you’ll find topics on how to handle taxes, banking, expense, sales, and other accounting activities: QBO resources.

Feel free to leave a message and provide additional information below if you need help with QuickBooks. I’m always ready to assist further. Have a great rest of the day.
