I need to add VAT accounting

Hello community,

Please help me if you can.

I need to add VAT accounting, how can I do that? It seems that my tariff plan does not have this function. Please help me to have a VAT account in Qs. Thanks in advance.

Answer - Could you please tell me where I can see for which country my version of Qs is installed? The company I am accounting for with Qs is Cyprus.

Hi there. I'm here to help you verify the country of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we can check the default currency to verify the region of your account.

 

There are two ways to check this. To do so, we can check the currency on the Dashboard page or in the Accounts and settings menu. Refer to the steps below to proceed:

 

In the Dashboard:

 

  1. In your QBO account, select the Dashboard menu.
  2. Next, go to the Business Overview tab.
  3. From there, check the currency sign used in the graphs.

 

In the Accounts and settings:

 

  1. Log in to your QBO account on a web browser.
  2. Next, select the Gear icon and click Accounts and Settings.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. Then, scroll down to the Currency section.
  5. Check the currency in the Home Currency field.
