I need to remove the VAT element from my account setup as I seem to have started it with it in and I'm not VAT registered. How do I do this so I can add transactions?

If you're trying to remove VAT rate that's no longer in use on your QuickBooks Online account, you can do this by following these steps:

1. Select Taxes from the left menu.
2. Choose VAT, then click Edit VAT.
3. Tap Edit Rates.
4. Find the tax rate you want to deactivate, then switch it from On to Off.
5. Select Yes.

On the other hand, if you wish to remove the VAT rates added on your transaction, you have to manually open each transactions and select No VAT beside the Amounts are section.
