Is it possible to change quarterly dates for VAT, Quickbooks seems to start January 1- March 31st and I need to change it to 1st February to 30th April?

Yes, you can change the effective date for your quarterly dates for VAT. I'd be happy to guide you through the steps.

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click Taxes from the left menu, then select VAT.
  3. In the Edit VAT drop-down, choose Edit settings.
  4. Select the month (February) when do you want to start calculating your VAT. Then, choose Quarterly.
  5. Select the VAT accounting scheme, then enter the start date for the new scheme (February 1st).
  6. Click Save.
