Is there a way (perhaps a plug-in) to continually track my sales total for the past 12 months to date in the mobile app? I'm very keen not to go over the VAT limit.

Supported third-party apps are only able to be integrated on the web-based application of QuickBooks. If you need to view sales information while out and about, you can access the web version using a mobile browser app (Safari for iOS and Google Chrome for Android).
