My vat return will not allow me to enter figures in any of the boxes

Welcome to the Community - thank you for your question!

You are not able to directly edit the figures on the VAT return, you will either need to input your transactions so QuickBooks works out the VAT for you, or upload a spreadsheet of your box 1-9 figures to then submit.

Have you inputted your transactions into your account, or are you wanting to submit using a spreadsheet?
