Neither invoices or estimates are showing VAT I'm vat registered so it's important it did show it but now it's stopped

Stopped adding 20% Standard VAT why ? How can I get it back ?

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), if the 20% standard VAT isn't showing when you create an invoice or estimate, the VAT settings may have been turned off, Timbo. I'll provide the steps to enable it again.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) in the upper right corner.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Selec Advanced.
  4. In the Accounting section, click the pencil icon.
  5. In the Default tax rate selection, choose whether Inclusive of Tax or Exclusive of Tax.
  6. Then, click Save and Done.
