Question

Require a VAT Threshold Checker report to show business sales for the 12 months ending at the end of the current month. This reduces the risk of exceeding VAT threshold.

Hi there, @Jonathan Cohen.

I want to make sure you're able to get the VAT threshold checker report in QuickBooks Online.

Let's pull the VAT Detail by going to the Reports tab to review the business sales for the twelve months ending at the end of the current month.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Vat Detail Report under the Manage VAT field.
  2. Choose Customize button, then choose the appropriate period date in the drop-down.
  3. Hit Filter drop-down and pick a specific account, client, location, etc.
  4. Tap Run report

For more information, check out this article: VAT Detail Report

You can also click the Save Customization button to memorise the report. It will help you save time since it automatically updates every time there are newly added transactions. For more guidance, check out this page: Memorise reports.

I've also included the following articles about various VAT reports, customising it, handling taxes, and other related topics.

Fill me in if you have further questions, @Jonathan Cohen. I'm always around if you need any help.
