"Something went wrong" error message when when click on Taxes-VAT

When I click on Taxes-VAT I can see for a second last period VAT figures  ,  badge Connected to MTD and then everything disappears and error message pops up: "Something’s not working. Give us a few minutes and try again. If it still doesn’t work, call us so we can take a closer look." The same issue has my accountant on different computer. Tried all standard advices like Clear cache, run QB on few different browsers, on Incognito mode- everywhere the same. One week left till VAT return deadline and no  fix from QB support. They blamed HMRC but the same issue happens if I disconnect from MTD.

Taxes- Income tax works correctly.

Anybody had this issue?

I've checked our records and there's no reported case about the error message you've encountered. I appreciate you for performing some troubleshooting steps to get this sorted out. Since the recommended steps are not working, it would be best to contact our Customer Care Support. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue. Here's how: 

  1. Click on Help and enter something like the "Something went wrong" error message when clicking on Taxes-VAT. 
  2. If you get search results, type need human.
  3. Click on any of the results and click I still need a human.
  4. Press Contact Support Team.

I found this error message in a thread here:

Except of a lot of frustration from effected users going for couple of weeks there was no answer or resolution from support team - thread just died off...
