Something went wrong when submitting VAT

I'm getting this error when trying to submit my VAT return with bridging software

 

 

Something went wrong
Try again now or come back later if you're still having issues.

( I have attached screenshot)

 

I have been trying since yesterday, still not going through, I tried resetting the connection with HRMC but no joy , the spreadsheet is loading ok

any advice ?

I logged onto Quik books, joined the live chat and they walked me through the process. It's a Quik books issue.

They basically walked me through turning off VAT submission and click don't make tax digital, then turning it back on and then the re-submit button was there, all went through fine after that.

Hello Moonear, thanks for posting on the Community page,  you can try turning mtd off and back on again and then try do the submission, if that doesn’t resolve it then I suggest you ring the support line on 0808 234 5337 the line is open mon to fri 8am to 7pm and is free from UK landline and mobile and you will be able to set up a screen share with the agent and they can have a look into it more for you.
