Try to submit vat, after pressing lets go i am told i dont have the propper permission to continue?

QuickBooks might not yet authorise to connect with HMRC. This is why you’re unable to submit the file successfully. You can refer to this article to activate this authorization: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Making-Tax-Digital/Submit-a-VAT-return-to-HMRC-MTD-for-small-businesses/m-p/247747


Though, if you’re still unable to submit the VAT return, I’d recommend contacting to our support team. They have more tools to investigate this further and provide more troubleshooting steps. 
Here’s how to reach them:

  1. Click Help at the top. 
  2. Select Contact us.     
  3. Provide a brief description about your concern. 
  4. Click Continue.
