Trying to complete VAT return. No settings change in the last 18 months but now get Take Action warning that Client Not Authorised. Im sole trader completing own return?

Hello @george36,

 

The error message you received is related to the integrated connection with HMRC in QuickBooks. Let's consider refreshing it so you can prepare and submit your return with no issues. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under YOUR COMPANY, select Accounts and Settings.
  3. Select Advanced.
  4. On the Making Tax Digital section, select Learn how to connect.
